教学目的与要求

知识目标：

1.能够听懂英语电话对话并进行留言记录。

3.能够阅读并理解处理人际关系的相关话题材料，并进行分析讨论。

4.能够撰写态度诚恳、语言委婉、措辞得当、简明扼要的道歉信。

教学内容和教学方法与手段

1.Warming up（情景教学法，结合多媒体课件、视频、音频）

（1）通过展示电话英语视频，导入电话英语的主题，融入思政教学内容，让学生了解人际交流的重要性。

（2）Students are required to complete the exercise on their own and then check theanswer with their partner.

（3）Teacher checks the answer.

（4）More expressions used in telephone calls are provided for students’ reference.

2.Listening and Speaking（交际教学法，讲授法，角色扮演法，结合多媒体课件、视频、音频）

（1）Pronounce the new vocabulary and key sentences for the class to repeat and explain them one by one.

（2）Listen to the dialogue for the general idea and write down some key information.

（3）Listen again and finish the exercise.

（4）Explain key words and sentences.

（5）Set up situations for students to make up dialogues with the help of some useful expressions.

3.Reading and Vocabulary（问答法，讲授法，任务型教学法，结合多媒体课件、视频、音频）

（1）Explore the topic of experience by asking questions:

What would you like to share with your friends?

How do you feel after pouring out your heart to others?

（2）Pronounce the new vocabulary for the class to repeat and explain them briefly.

（3）Read the passage quickly for the first time to get the general idea.

（4）Analyze the text，通过分析卡内基和林肯的故事，引导学生提高个人沟通能力，建立良好的人际关系。

（5）Take a close look at the passage sentence by sentence with some translation. Focus on the new vocabulary, give detailed explanation of them and ask the students to make sentences. Then analyze the difficult sentence structures and ask students to translate them based on their understanding.

（6）Finish the word study exercise for reinforcement.

4.Grammar for Use（讲授法，任务型教学法，结合多媒体课件、视频、音频）

（1）Ask students to pay attention to the word form of the underlined words in the following sentence from the text. (v.+ing)

（2）Explain the use of non-finite verb (v.+ing) with some examples.

（3）Add some exercises for consolidation.

5.Practical Reading（情景教学法，讲授法，结合多媒体课件、视频、音频）

（1）Get some knowledge about making apology.

（2）Read the apology letter again and match the expressions with their relevant functions.

6.Practical Writing（讲授法，任务型教学法，结合多媒体课件、视频、音频）

（1）Ask students to recall the apology letter in Practical Reading.

（2）Analyze the content of apology letter. Then tick the items included.

（3）Present more samples of apology letter and give students some writing tips.

（4）Ask students to read and complete the apology letter with the sentences given.

（5）Discuss your own experiences of having done something wrong or having brought inconvenience to someone. Give each other some suggestions on improving the relations.

7.Project（情景教学法，结合多媒体课件、视频、音频）

回顾本单元listening and speaking部分第二则听力材料,结合Project，总结如何用英文进行投诉。

8.Around the World + My Progress Check（任务型教学法，结合多媒体课件、视频、音频）

（1）Give a brief introduction of the book—How to Win Friends and Influence Peopleto the students.

（2）Ask students to skim the short passage quickly to get the main idea. And explain the difficult words and expressions.

（3）Finish the exercise on Page 35-36.

（4）Check the answers.

重点：

1.灵活运用电话沟通相关词汇及表达，注意接打电话的礼仪。

2.熟练撰写语言规范、表达清晰的英语道歉信。

1.把握文章脉络，捕捉重要信息，进行归纳、推理，提高阅读理解能力。
